The journey of Kolkata International Music Festival (KIMF) started way back in the year 2009. We have seen the enormous potential with the roots and independent artists of India but there were hardly any platforms to showcase these talented artists. This prompted us to create KIMF. Kolkata International Music Festival is a celebration of the power of collective creativity. Be it folk, Jazz, Fusion, Classical or World Music, KIMF promises to give you the best. Thousands – from the artists themselves to the audiences, who participated, inspire a music festival of this scale. It is a festival for you, to discover new things, to participate in the power of art to transform life and to celebrate the creativity of cultures and individuals from across India and the globe. This is a festival for the people of Kolkata, of India and of the world.
